The Star News recently interviewed the directors of CYT San Diego’s spring show “Honk!,” Joshua and Amanda Pontsler.
Here’s what they said:
“It is important that we bring you a show that portrays redemption, forgiveness and acceptance….We only hope that through the magic of music and laughter, the power of bullying begins to wane.”
According to the article, “This brilliantly funny story is packed with puns, uplifting musical scores and larger than life characters. But more than just being a timeless tale, the Pontslers believe the play’s message is needed in a time when bullying continues to be an epidemic in schools and throughout communities.”
