CYT Lafayette made the front page of the Daily Advertiser’s Accent section today!
The article features a photo of their winter production, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” and an interview with Artistic Director, Karen Broussard.
“It’s a good fit for us, because it’s a smaller cast,” Broussard said. “We thought we’d have a smaller group, since it was over the holidays. There’s a place for everyone in this cast….Everyone has their own place and importance. It’s a theme of Schultz’s, that you can make a place for everyone.”
“We think of this as building the kids from the inside out,” Broussard said. “The kids are our focus. We’re there to walk through their problems. We want them to feel loved, safe, accepted. The shows are lagniappe.”
