The CYT San Diego Alum and the organization he co-founded, Invisible Children, are trying to make Joseph Kony famous in 2012. Their latest video, KONY 2012, has just gone viral. And not just in America. We’re talking WORDLWIDE. The video has reached over a million views on YouTube, and #josephkony is trending worldwide on Twitter.

KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.
Celebrities have taken to Twitter and Facebook, to spread the message. You might recognize some of the names: Taylor Swift, Ashley Judd, Kristen Bell, Pete Wentz, Hayden Panettierre, P. Diddy, MC Hammer, Rihanna, Zooey Deschanel, Landon Donovan, and Sophia Bush, to name a few….
